Week 1 warrior wounds

It’s been a week since I started this blog so I wanted to give you a little update on how I’m holding up. Mentally, I’m in a strong place and could not be more excited about this experiment. Physically, I’m starting to look like I was in gang fight. Yoga, Pilates and slew of dance classes (including pole dancing. That story soon!) have left me feeling like this amazingly drawn stick figure:


Despite the fact that I’ve seen some wear and tear and that typing this blog post is actually causing my biceps to whimper, I have never been more stoked about working out… I guess because it doesn’t really feel like I’m working out. I’m just trying lots of new things that I would normally not try. Pssh, take THAT exercise ADD!

Big thanks to everyone who has been following along so far. This is just the beginning. I have a ton more free classes left to try and a lot of embarrassing experiences left to write about. Here I come, Krav Maga and kickboxing and aerial yoga and everything else!

  1. I’m not trying anything that crisps the hair, thank you. But all the rest are war wounds to be proud of. Keep it up; I love getting to read about exercise. That should count for something.
